Fellow Sewers...help!

So, I have this collection of fabric:

Riley Blake- Sweet Nothings
I have fat quarters of each of the prints, and 5.5 yards of the white.

I am stuck, I don't know what to do with it- well, I am going to make a quilt out of it, but I can't decide what design, right now I am thinking zigzag/chevron with the white between each row:

But something like this would be pretty too:

I need help!  I need opinions!  I'll do a tutorial of whatever we pick! StumbleUpon

  2. First, excellent fabric choice. I love me some Riley Blake!

I also second the chevron design, but do you have enough of different colors to make it work? I don't know if some of the more heavily patterned prints "read" as one color to me, so I'm not sure how it would work. But I am a highly visual person, so I can't picture it unless I was there with you!

If the chevron doesn't work, I love the second one. I think that would look great with the fabrics you have.

I've only ever made one quilt (for the babe), and it was fun, but took a LOT of time. I prefer to stick to burpcloths and little dresses and skirts for my daughter. :) Can't wait to see what you choose!
